I am Zoe (she/her), a Senior Product Designer specialising in accessibility with 9+ years experience. I love to sketch ideas and help to develop inclusive products that are genuinely a pleasure to use, no matter their purpose! My favourite thing to do at work is mentor junior members of the team and see where they go next!
I am a certified art nerd, I game, mostly indie games and Fortnite (I know), watch tonnes of comedy and collect miniature versions of kid's toys (a lockdown phase that didn't end in lockdown).
I started my design career at 13 when I designed a CD cover for Rihanna's 'Umbrella' in a graphic design class and thought 'this is cool, I want to do this as a job'. Fast forward a few years to my first job out of university and I'm designing websites with rainbows on them for primary schools knowing that it made the websites stupidly hard to use, but not sure why, or how to explain it. Cue my career in product design!!

"Zoe, you are a fantastic team-player and your positive and cooperative attitude consistently makes a huge impact. Thank you for always taking time to recognize and appreciate mine and the whole team's efforts. Working with you is an absolute delight, and I truly value your constant encouragement and support. I am extremely grateful to be working so closely with you!". - Junior Product Designer (Mentee)
"Your explanation of ‘indeterminate’ checkbox and the link. The extra explanation you gave is useful and helps bring good value to seeking UX input". - Product Manager
Zoe has once again knocked it out of the park with the re-design of the [PRDOUCT] [FEATURE]. Her ability to take feedback and change designs in accordance to the feedback is an art in it self.
How she does not take things personally and changes work based on feedback is a skillset that is very hard to find amongst those that work in [COMPANY], not just in the UX division.
"Someone please give her a goddamn pay rise, promotion, spot bonus and a values award before a competitor tries to take her away from us!!!" - Product Owner
"Enjoyed the Customer Insights session this morning and thanks for your insights - it has certainly given me some things to think about as this is an important initiative for the PO Community and something I am keen to trial / experiment with in parallel with this initiative. Looking forward to the next session." - Customer Success Manager
"Working with Zoe on the [FEATURE] for [PRODUCT] was amazing. She took my basic ideas and turned them into a great design while working iteratively with me to create that design. She listened to all feedback that I had and understood my rationale for the requirements that were needed for the design. It also helped that Zoe is a lovely person and is easy to talk to which resulted in some of the best collaboration I've had while at [COMPANY]. My only complaint is that Zoe won't be working on [PRODUCT] that much due to her working primarily with the People management division now, so I won't get to work with her that much :(" - Product Owner
Zoe is always engaging and shares her valid opinions in group calls. She has great insight into different working UX practices and is constantly looking to increase her knowledge, namely around accessibility which is an area of rapidly growing concern and focus within the business. It is great to have such an advocate in the team willing to educate and champion these causes. - UX/UI Director
"Zoe has a great attitude towards work and her own personal growth. She pushes herself to be the best she can be and approaches her work with real drive and ambition. No job is too big or small, no task too complicated or simple. She's also great to collaborate with, adding valuable insights and ideas which in turn leads to a much better execution. Appreciate you Zoe!" - Creative Director
